The Temp of the Month Award for September 2016 goes to Taslima Begum. Taslima has been working as a Band 4 Administrator at the East London Foundation Trust (ELFT) since November 2015.

During this time her professionalism, fun attitude and hard work as deeply impacted on her manager, it is this dedication that resulted in her being nominated and winning the temp of the month award.

Taslima’s Manager Elaine speak very highly of her, she told London Works: “Taslima is an excellent member of our team. Her attention to detail, calmness, humour & reliability make her a vital part our Clinical Support Team! Well Done Taslima, very well deserved”

When asked about her role at ELFT and her experience with London Works, Taslima had this to says:

“I had recently graduated from the University of Greenwich and was desperately looking for a full-time office based position. After several applications, I had been unsuccessful due to a lack of experience.

Then I was introduced to London Works by a friend, the whole process from registering to the online tests to explaining what roles I was looking for was just made so easy, an area which is somewhat daunting in other cases. Everyone in the team was so welcoming and really made me feel at ease, I felt I was in good hands to find a job with the help of the London Works Team. I just love the diversity and equality within the establishment.

London Works then helped me gain a temp position at ELFT as an Administrator. I was ecstatic as I had only just registered with the agency. The role was due to end just after the Christmas period in 2015”.

“It is now coming up to one year since I’ve been working at ELFT and I love it here. The staff and team have been amazing and treated me equally throughout my employment.

London Works has helped me at every stage of my job and kept me updated with vital information. They have always been very flexible with my place here and have kept in contact with me throughout this employment.

They have brought me together with my team at ELFT and helped to celebrate my achievement here. From helpful consultants like Ian, to friendly and supportive administrators such as Lizzie and Shanniel, the team have been great to me at every step of this journey and I am truly grateful for the organisation.
