With the end of 2016 fast approaching, it has been an eventful year. Our temps have been amazing and we have been so proud to represent each and every one of them – It is exactly for this reason that we have the temp of the month award; we always love surprising our temporary workers, who often have no idea they have been nominated for this award.

I made my way up to the third floor and popped myself behind a computer screen, pretending to be another member of staff; our winner for November’s temp of the month sits opposite me completely oblivious. I am immediately impressed to see her working away at her computer, but also the good atmosphere between her and the team. She is one of our longest standing temps and we are excited to be honouring her with the award. Liz Woodroffe has been working as a Minute Taker / Typist at the East London NHS Foundation Trust since March 2015 and her hard work is thoroughly appreciated by all those that she works with and supports.

Liz was nominated by Helen Grimes, Head of Administration and Jennifer Vital, Senior Executive Assistant for the Trust. When nominating Liz, Helen Grimes stated:
‘‘Elizabeth Woodroffe has been with us in CHN for a very long time. She is reliable, hardworking and always one step ahead. She is very efficient and highly respected by both managers and staff’’.

Jennifer secured Liz winning the award this month by adding:
‘‘I would like to nominate Liz Woodroffe for Temp of the month, as she has been very supportive and flexible with the team. We have had a number of staff absence sickness and Liz has covered at very short notice and helped with supporting the directors with other office / admin tasks besides minute taking – showing team spirit’’.

London Works really appreciate all the hard work that Liz is doing and would like to say a huge thank you to her for all her efforts.
